US Stove 1,200 Sq. Ft. Wood Stove with Legs

US Stove 1,200 Sq. Ft. Wood Stove with Legs

The US Stove US1100E-L is a beautiful air tight plate steel wood burning stove with black wood handle door in a black finish. The US1100E-L stove comes with elegant legs base and can heat up to 1,200 sq. ft. with 68,000 BTUs.  A smooth arch door with air washed ceramic glass allows a magnificent view of the burning fire that will enhance any hearth setting. How it works: the primary air inlet at the front of the stove ignites the wood upon start up. Once burning, the secondary air inlet at the rear of the firebox feeds air to the top of the stove through three (3) ignition tubes directly above the wood. The result is that you have ignition, or fire, at the bottom and at the top of the wood stove which, in effect, consumes the wood. This is a very efficient method of getting the most energy possible out of the wood that you are burning. This stove meets the stringent requirements of the EPA certification guidelines.  The US1100E-L replaces the previous Defender wood stove.

  • FAQs
    • What is my warranty?
All replacement parts are covered for 1 year from the date of purchase. The integrity of the firebox itself is covered for 3 years from the purchase date. Some dealers may sell extended warranties. You will need to contact your dealer for assistance if you have purchased one and are outside of the US Stove coverage time frame.
    • Can I burn corn in my pellet stove?
No, you cannot burn corn in your pellet stove. The pellet stove was designed and tested for wood pellets only. Burning corn in your stove will void your warranty and may create a safety hazard or cause damage to your stove. You should only burn premium hard wood pellets in your pellet stove. The only exception to this rule is if your stove is specially equipped to burn corn like the 6041 Series stoves. These stoves come with an agitator and a special burn pot to allow them to burn corn and other bio-fuels.
    • What are the slides in the back wall or in the bottom of the firebox for?
They are clean-outs for the ash build up. These should be cleaned out AT LEAST every burning season or for every ton of pellets burned. You should check them periodically to ensure there’s not a lot of ash build-up. This will greatly affect the performance of your pellet/corn stove!
    • Do I need a Fresh Air Kit?
This will depend on how air tight the home/building is. If it is very air tight, negative pressure can form and interfere with the proper functioning of the stove. If the unit is installed in a mobile/manufactured home, the fresh air kit is REQUIRED!
    • What is the second opening on the back of the stove used for?
The second opening is the unit’s air intake. This is where you would hook up the Fresh Air Kit (Part # 69FAK is a 2in opening and Part # 4FK for the 4 in openings). Piping the intake to the outside allows combustion air to enter the firepot from the outside. This will keep negative pressure from forming within the building. It will also increase the efficiency of your stove. This kit is a requirement for mobile/manufactured homes!
