Rated 5 out of 5 by patriot spice from Very nice and efficient stove Been using the US 2500 for close to two months now as the sole source of heat in our home. We have the pedestal model that I highly recommend over the one with legs. large ash pan is a must for someone that heats exclusively with wood. Can be used while maintaining a large bed of coals. I also love the front door and the large size firebox. It holds heat and coals for over ten hours with good dry hard wood. So nice to sleep through the whole night without having to reload wood. Same for coming home after ten or more hours away and just have to add more wood.

Rated 1 out of 5 by mark from draft problems bought and installed two weeks ago. Have had previous wood stove for more than 15 years and used for primary heat in winter. the stove I have is the model 2000. The only way we can get a good burn is with the door open a crack, if closed it starves for air with the damper wide open
