The DVAG11L Direct Vent Wall Heater from Ashley Hearth Products makes the perfect solution for zoned heating. The space saving direct vent furnace design mounts to an exterior wall and the adjustable vent assembly adjusts to fit walls from 4-1/2 inches to 10 inches thick. For clean, comfortable heat when and where you want it, the gas flame is completely sealed inside, away from all contact with room air. Air necessary for combustion is drawn into the chamber from outside through the vent and combustion products are vented directly to the outside. Only clean, gentle heat, in continuous circulation is delivered into the room. Windows and doors stay closed because no room air is used for combustion. The DVAG11L direct vent propane wall furnace is designed to heat up to 375 Sq. Ft. and has an 11,000 BTU input.

Although it may not be intended for a Van, that is where i have it installed. I only use it when parked and camping, the out side temperature as 9 degrees F and on setting 1 the heater worked flawlessly, with adjustable temperature setting it automatically goes to pilot once temperature is reached, I installed it using the hardware included no issues.. Perfect size for my van,, first time i ran it there was some odor which went away within 1/2 hour. Im certain it was just a rust preventative used during assembly.. Customer support is excellent on this site so reviews that say otherwise evidently didnt call this customer support.. This heater is worth the investment, Van, RV, Camper, or appropriate sized room in a house. Installation was easy with the included instructions and several videos are out there too. The only part that get very hot are the brown louvered front and the outside exhaust. The top and side get warm but In my experience not hot enough to start a fire this unit is safe and designed well.. I would recommend..
