2,200 Sq Ft EPA Certified Pellet Stove with 60 lb Hopper
2,200 Sq Ft EPA Certified Pellet Stove with 60 lb Hopper
Good things come in small packages and the Vogelzang VG5770 is no exception. This space saving pellet heater brings a full sized heating appliance into a small package making it a great fit for your home. It is a fully automated pellet stove with automatic ignition and easy access top mounted controls. It has a 60 Lb. hopper to help extend burn times and reduce the time spent refueling the stove. This simple design and close clearance tolerances make this model easy to install and a welcomed addition to any home. It comes with a remote control and is ready for hookup to a wall mounted thermostat. The digital control panel has a easy to read digital temperature read out and soft touch buttons. Pellet heaters work by using a software driven control board to precisely deliver a pre-determined amount of fuel from the hopper into a burn chamber. An electric heating element, used only in startup, heats the pellets until they ignite. The combustion blower forces air through the burn chamber and once ignited, it provides an active combustion of the pellets resulting in very little ash. The exhaust and heat pass through one side of air chambers where on the other side, the variable speed room blower gathers the heat and distributes this through the room. This entire process results in a very clean burning, efficient heating machine for your home.

FAQs
-
Where do I get support for my product?
Visit our
Support Area for support options.
-
What is my warranty?
All replacement parts are covered for 1 year from the date of purchase.
The integrity of the firebox itself is covered for 3 years from the purchase date.
Some dealers may sell extended warranties. You will need to contact your dealer for assistance if you have purchased one and are outside of the US Stove coverage time frame.
-
Can I burn corn in my pellet stove?
No, you cannot burn corn in your pellet stove. The pellet stove was designed and tested for wood pellets only. Burning corn in your stove will void your warranty and may create a safety hazard or cause damage to your stove. You should only burn premium hard wood pellets in your pellet stove. The only exception to this rule is if your stove is specially equipped to burn corn like the 6041 Series stoves. These stoves come with an agitator and a special burn pot to allow them to burn corn and other bio-fuels.
-
What are the slides in the back wall or in the bottom of the firebox for?
They are clean-outs for the ash build up. These should be cleaned out AT LEAST every burning season or for every ton of pellets burned. You should check them periodically to ensure there’s not a lot of ash build-up. This will greatly affect the performance of your pellet/corn stove!
-
Do I need a Fresh Air Kit?
This will depend on how air tight the home/building is. If it is very air tight, negative pressure can form and interfere with the proper functioning of the stove. If the unit is installed in a mobile/manufactured home, the fresh air kit is REQUIRED!
