Rated 4 out of 5 by from The Heat Machine been using this stove for 1 year, good stove, very efficient only wish it had a thermostat that way it would power down once it heats to a certain temp, but overall I would def. recommend buying this stove, this stove has saved me a lot in heating with other forms of heat..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So much easier We have used a wood stove for many years, but this year we decided to go with a pellet stove. Heard many good things about this particular stove and saw lots of good reviews. We couldn't be happier. We love the convenience of this stove and have recommended it many times.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the Stove The only con I have is that my 5500m is way too loud. I had asked the sales person if it was loud and they said no. I have to turn my tv up the stove is 20 feet away and it just about drives me up the wall. Nothing worse than having a loud stove and a loud tv.. Other than the loudness, its great, love the hopper capacity and the asthetics of it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from ussc 5500m i purchased this unit in the fall of 2011,so i'm just starting my 3rd season. i have had lots of issues with this unit.in the first year i had to replace the ignite r, the room blower fan, and the circuit board. last season the ignite r went bad again. low and behold here we are starting the 3rd season and the circuit board is bad again. the circuit board is about 400.00 the ignite r is 75.00. parts are very expensive for a 1100.00 unit. i am considering removing this unit and buying something else. i just feel this companies product is very poor quality. feel free to email if you want more info about this product or the way the company handle customer service inquiries. i understand that my unit is 3 yrs old and used for 2 seasons but to spend 500.00 plus cost of the pellets. hardly a big savings on heating cost.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Overall, Solid Heat Source I've had this stove for about 2-3 years give or take a month or two in an un-insulated farm house. During the cold spell in my area last winter it kept us warm and comfy with no problems. It definately puts out heat! Be careful with older houses and wiring. Thought my ignitor was going bad, but it ended up being a bad connection in my basement via a junction box that had been put in sometime in the past. I'm thinking it was a latent issue and the draw of the stove just brought it out. I fixed that and no more issues. Only draw-backs with this unit, in my opinion, is how loud it is when running (mentioned in other reviews) and the fact that there isnt a way to hook it into a duct system that I saw. I have an old and large house so air movement had to be accomplished through fans and floor vents. Also, make sure to have help when moving it. It is very very heavy! Overall solid product though.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from King 5500M I have had used this stove for 3 seasons and every season the AUGER breaks. I am now ordering my 5th auger (last year it broke twice) which in the long run very very costly! I have also had to order the IGNITER 2 times. I am thinking about removing this unit from my home and just going with propane gas to heat our house, yes propane is more expensive but at least I won't wake in the middle of the night to find my pellet stove broke down again! I would NOT recommend this product to anyone!
