HOTBLAST, WOOD ONLY WITH TWIN 550 CFM BLOWERS is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from home heater I have the Hot blast 1400 and love it, i live in a split foyer home and had to put it in the garage bleow the house. I did have HVAC company install duct work from top the plentum on the wood furnas into the top plentum on my Natural gas furnase and it works good but I need a little more than the 1100 cfm to push the air really well any Ideas on isulating the duct work would be appreaciated love my Hotblast

Rated 3 out of 5 by from very hot very fast I bought this stove before winter this year and installed it which was pretty easy. We have used it all winter and it heats our house very well. There is a few things that I would like to mention about this stove. First is that the latch on the fire box keeps getting loose and we have to keep tightening up the bolts every once and a while. Second thing is that the air inlet on the fire box door virtually doesn't work at all after only a few fires worth of creosote build up. Third thing is the steel smoke curtain, that does work really well to keep smoke in, is a real pain to load especially bigger logs into the stove. It falls down onto the log making it difficult to get wood "stacked" inside the firebox, it has also even got logs stuck in the door resulting in a few minor burns on my wife and I both. Over all it is a good stove for the price but it could really use some better parts that I'm just going to add myself come summer.
