If you have purchased a 5500 King Pellet Heater manufactured by United States Stove Company, you may experience a problem with pellets not feeding.

We have had reports of units from serial number 2001 to 2085 with reversed augers. Date codes are 7/26 through 7/28.

If this is the case with your purchase, call United States Stove Company at 1-800-750-2723, ext. 3021, 3033, 3042, 3028, 3022 or 3020.  If any one of these extensions is busy, punch the "O," which will direct you to the operator.  She will transfer you to the first available customer service manager, who will arrange to replace your auger.

United States Stove Company will reimburse you for any inconvenience and will pay all service charges.

This is not a safety issue, but one of function.  We are very concerned, however, and will do all   possible to restore your confidence in our products.
